Home of Love & Peace
A home for street-children in Rama, in the North of Israel, was founded by pastor George Kazoura, a Christian Arab, who – with the love for Jesus Christ – also got love for the people of Israel, which he had hated until than. In this home, boys and girls, who are rejected by their parents, can build up a new way of living. Besides many blessings, they also face challenges, such as people that would like to get rid of this Christian home of "Love & Peace", which is right inside the Arab community. Even the vast majority of Arab Christians still do not accept that the Jews are God's chosen people...
This refuge home has a maximum capacity of 40 children. At the moment, there are only a handful of children, due to several reasons. This causes the basic operational expenses to be relatively high.
Special activities and events are frequently organized, as for example soccer tournaments, music and dancing evenings, trips to the swimming pool, to name a few.
These outcast and rejected children are offered a new way of life that they will get nowhere else.
Since the founding of the children’s home, some of the children – by the love they experienced, became stable and normal citizens within the Arabic society. One of them works now as a staff member in the home of "Love & Peace".
