GOD has made an unbreakable oath and covenant with His chosen people and Israel Psalms 110:4
Is there any reason NOT to STAND with ISRAEL?
KEEP JERUSALEM UNITED
WHAT WE BELIEVE
- Our Statement of Faith
Christians for Israel-USA believes that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. We believe that Jesus was and is the long awaited Jewish Messiah (Christ) of Israel who died and rose again, and who will return to Israel at God the Father's appointed time. We believe that salvation is from the Jews
(John 4:22) and that Gentiles (non-Jews) who accept Jesus' salvation should do so with gratitude and respect toward the Jewish roots of their faith - About Replacement Theology
By definition, Replacement Theology maintains that the Church has replaced Israel and the Jewish people in God's plans and purposes. In other words, replacement theology teaches that Christians are God's new "Chosen People." This theology has existed within the Church since its inception. It has been used erroneously as an argument for persecuting Jewish people and has resulted in millions of Jewish deaths down through the centuries including, but not limited to, the Crusades and the infamous European Holocaust, a dark period of recent history when the Church remained virtually silent.
Christians for Israel USA believes that God's eternal promises to Israel, as recorded in the Bible, have never been revoked. We oppose Replacement Theology and urge all Christians to do the same - About our Ministry to the Church and to Jewish people
It is against this unfortunate backdrop of Church history that Christians for Israel USA believes that, where the relationship between Christians and Jews is concerned today our
Primary Role is to provide educational resources that will help Christians to understand why they should love, support and pray for Jewish people and for Israel.
Secondary Role is to demonstrate unconditional love to the Jewish people, thereby fulfilling Paul the Apostle's mandate for the Church in its relationship with the Jewish people (Romans 11:13-14). In practical terms, this means adopting charitable initiatives in support of Israel whereby we can clearly demonstrate our love and kindness to the Jewish people as an expression of our faith in Jesus Christ. Moreover, we firmly believe that the Messiah (Christ) will reveal Himself to His people at God the Father's appointed time and in His own way.
OUR STRATEGIES
Provide a message to the Church
- Educating Christians
One of the greatest challenges facing the Kingdom of God today is the need to awaken a sleeping Church to God’s continuing love and special purposes for Israel. Because the Jews in general rejected Jesus as their Messiah, some people believe the Church has replaced Israel in God’s plans and covenant purposes. Paul warned against such erroneous thinking, (Romans 11:25-27) - It is our mission to educate the Church about the fallacy of this belief and the truth that the Jews remain God’s chosen people.
Comfort Israel
We Support Israel and the Jewish people
- Christians for Israel USA supports the people of Israel through a number of projects and charitable initiatives. For instance, we help Jewish families from the former Soviet Union to make Aliyah, to go home to their Promised Land – an exciting fulfillment of biblical prophecy (Isaiah 49:22). We also support the Jews at home, such as help to feed and clothe the poor of Israel, comfort the victims of terror and offer practical support during times of crisis. Christians for Israel USA also provides financial assistance for underprivileged children and children at risk in the land of Israel
- Christians for Israel USA stands with the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. We condemn all forms of anti-Semitism, including its more recent emergence as "Anti-Zionism"
- We pray for Israel and the Peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6-7) and urge all Christians to do the same.
