Gaza: C4I Letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

The board of Christians for Israel (C4I) International
sent a letter of encouragement to the Israeli leadership in response to the current Gaza situation. The letter was sent on behalf of all C4I offices and representatives around the world.

Willem Glashouwer knighted by Queen of Netherlands!

The Dutch Queen recognises importance of the C4I ministry!
At a ceremony in Garderen (Holland) on 16th March, Rev. Ds. Willem J.J. Glashouwer (President of Christians for Israel International) was awarded a knighthood (Ridder in de Orde van Oranje Nassau). This presigious award was presented by the Mayor of Amersfoort, on behalf of the Queen of the Netherlands. This knighthood was awarded in recognition of Willem’s tireless work over the last decades for the church and Israel, especailly as President of Christians for Israel since 1998. Congratulations, Willem!!

Despite recently achieving the honorable age of 65, Willem Glashouwer continues, in his unique indefatigable style, his work as President of C4I International.
As President, he speaks, writes and teaches worldwide about God's purposes with Israel, the Church and the nations. He advises the Board of Directors of C4I International, and assists in the international development of the ministry. His book Why Israel? has been translated into 20 languages. Currently he is working on his new project, Why Jerusalem?, examining the Biblical and historical importance of the city of Jerusalem in the context of the Coming of Jesus Christ.

Christians for Israel opens office in Kampala, Uganda

On October 1st, 2009, Christians for Israel officially opened its new office in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Situated in the heart of the city, amongst the foreign embassies, this new office represents thousands, if not millions, of Christians in East Africa who love and support the Jewish people.

Israel important for Africa

Conferences
Christians for Israel Uganda is a registered charitable organisation in Uganda. It is led by Evangelist Drake Kanaabo, and a team of dedicated and talented Christian leaders. From 2nd – 8th October, 2009, Christians for Israel organised a series of conferences and VIP dinners in various locations throughout the country. These events were attended by several thousand Christian leaders, from Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Sudan, Congo and Burundi.

Training
Christians for Israel trains local Christians in more than 20 countries world-wide about God’s purposes for Israel, the church and the nations. A delegation of 20 Christian leaders from Uganda attended the C4I International Forum in Jerusalem, Israel in March 2009. In March 2010 Christians for Israel Uganda will lead a group of Christians to Israel.

In addition to the office in Uganda, Christians for Israel also has representative offices in Kenya, Cameroon, and Nigeria.
